Prime Refrigerant is owned and operated by Tom Kautzer, who comes from a long line of air conditioning experts. His grandfather was in refrigeration, his father owned and operated an air conditioning company, and Tom followed in their footsteps by starting his own refrigerant recovery and reclamation business.
At Prime Refrigerant, it is our mission to provide high quality services completed by respectable and trustworthy professionals. We work to accommodate our clients’ needs, and will travel for the right job. We are continually updating our equipment and machines to ensure that we are able to provide the superior service that our clients have come to depend on.
The essential function of Prime Refrigerant is to recoup large quantities of refrigerant from commercial/industrial air conditioning units. Generally, contractors do not keep the machines, tanks, and equipment required to recover larger amounts of refrigerant. That’s where we differ.
When you hire us, we provide all of the equipment necessary for the job and do the work involved, freeing up your technicians’ time for other job duties. We also provide cleaning, certification, and repackaging of refrigerant, which is another quality that sets us apart from most contractors. Additionally, we offer cylinder maintenance and re-certification, essentially making us the one-stop shop for your refrigerant needs.
Maintaining strong working relationships with our clients is incredibly important to us. Our goal is to ensure that you are highly satisfied with the services performed, and feel confident choosing us for all of your refrigerant needs.
If you have refrigerant that you no longer need, depending on the type, we might be able to buy it from you. Give us a call to discuss which types we buy. If you need refrigerant, we sell it at our warehouse and will deliver to your location.
We show up and do a recovery to full EPA specifications, we leave the tanks on site with the gas inside, and once the repairs are complete, your on site technicians will be able to put the gas back in.
Who doesn't want to help reduce their carbon footprint? Recycling is one of the best ways to help make a positive impact on the environment. If your refrigerant is oil-logged, has too much air or moisture, we will clean and reclaim it to a like-new condition.
